About Me and This Site

Webmacster87.info is the official blog/website of Douglas Bell, who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, California (USA), and is currently a senior in high school. When he's not spending his time working on homework or writing college application essays, he is a volunteer and student representative for the San Mateo-Foster City, 17th District, and California State PTA, as well as a member of his school's Leadership Class and Peace Club. Online, he maintains this blog and co-hosts the phpBB Weekly podcast.

This blog is home to his rants and ramblings about personal and school life, links and responses to news stories and videos that he's found on the internets, as well as home to a number of his techy and non-techy articles. Track Santa in Google Earth

Courtesy of the genius invention of timezones, Santa has already begun his 25-hour journey around the globe, and Norad Tracks Santa has always been the best place to track Santa as he goes on his travels. However, this year, they have a Santa Tracker add-on for Google Earth, which lets you track Santa’s sleigh as he moves city to city. It’s a really cool use for Google Earth and will probably keep me mesmerized on there for hours.
