Well, here I go again. You probably don’t even really care much about all my travel itineraries, but I find that it satisfies myself to spend the time writing them up anyways. (If it turns out that you actually like my travel itineraries, let me know in the comments.) However, this week will be the California State PTA Convention again, my fourth one in a row. The difference about this year’s (other than the fact that it’s in Long Beach) is that as a student representative on the State PTA Board of Managers, I now get to be a part of running the thing, which therefore makes me more committed during the Convention and means that I have to show up two days earlier. Dec 31

Well, the year 2007 has definitely been an interesting one. There have been plenty of great things that happened this year, and lots of bad things that happened this year, so my overall outlook on this year is pretty much a neutral one. I also did much more blogging during the year 2007 than I have before, with almost 270 posts spanning January-December. But now, as it is New Year’s Eve, December 31st, it’s time for me to close out the year 2007 with my Year in Review.

I covered Mail in last Wednesday’s Leopard Feature Presentation, which was one of the apps that sought to bring Mac OS X’s built-in applications in lockstep to go up against Entourage, part of Microsoft Office. But Entourage isn’t just e-mail and information management; Entourage also has an Address Book and Calendar included, which recently has been making iCal look a little, um, amateur. Not so in Leopard. iCal 3 in Leopard finally has been fully redesigned to be more professional looking and faster to use, and although those of us who regularly used iCal before will have a few new things to get used to, the new iCal overall offers a lot of stuff to be excited about.
