Happy May Day! I’m reporting in stationed from Long Beach, with today being the first day of the 2008 California State PTA Convention (which I blogged about a few days ago). I’m also right in the middle of AP exams review here too, so I’m quite busy right now. But of course, I’ve got time to take a look back on the very busy month of April.

Whew! The month of March is over! On the one hand, I feel as though it’s gone by quite quickly, while on the other hand, I’m busy marveling at just how much stuff happened this past month, and just how busy I have been. As this exhaustive Best Of will show, I’ve been quite busy.

Well, February is over. Traditionally it’s the shortest month of the year, although this year’s got boosted with an extra day. I was very excited that I didn’t get sick in February for once in my life, so I guess flu shots are good things after all. :)

Well, just when you think that you’ve just closed out with the year 2007, the first month of 2008 ends, and suddenly 8% of the year has flown right by. Scary thought. However, January has come and gone for me, and so it’s time for another Webmacster87.info Best Of, for lack of my usual idiotic clever titles. By normal standards, January would be written down as a busy month for me, but by 2008 standards, knowing what’s on the other end of the tunnel this year, January has been mostly a drop in the bucket. Anyway, here we go with my monthly self-reflection.

Hello everyone, and Happy New Year! Unfortunately, I am contractually obligated (to myself, my standards, and nothing or no one else) to produce on this blog, on the first day of each month, a Best Of post featuring the best from the previous month. Unfortunately, Webmacster87.info was down for the majority of December, and so there were only eight posts on this blog during December, and two of them had to do with closing out the month of November! Anyway, this Best Of will be shorter than usual, probably, but here we go.

Dec 31

Well, the year 2007 has definitely been an interesting one. There have been plenty of great things that happened this year, and lots of bad things that happened this year, so my overall outlook on this year is pretty much a neutral one. I also did much more blogging during the year 2007 than I have before, with almost 270 posts spanning January-December. But now, as it is New Year’s Eve, December 31st, it’s time for me to close out the year 2007 with my Year in Review.

November on Webmacster87.info mostly focused on the Leopard Feature Presentation, which was my own way of reviewing the new features in Mac OS X Leopard, and since it takes time to write those articles, that was pretty much what I was doing on this blog for the month. However, there were a number of other things that happened elsewhere in my life, so let’s take a look at the past month on Webmacster87.info.

As of today, it has now been a full five weeks since I installed Mac OS X Leopard on my MacBook. It is no secret that I gave much more focus to Leopard than I gave to the iPhone during its late-June release, and that is because I am a Mac user and the first new OS X release in two and a half years is much more important to me. That’s why, during the week of the Leopard launch, I counted down to the Leopard release in my own way with my Tiger-to-Leopard series, which attempted to put the time difference between Tiger and Leopard into perspective. Then, for the 30 days of November, I wrote my Leopard Feature Presentation series, which selected one new feature per day from Mac OS X Leopard and reviewed it based on my experiences with that feature. Not only has it given me the chance to express my opinions about what I think of Leopard, doing the Leopard Feature Presentation has forced me to discover some of the other new features in Leopard that I might otherwise have overlooked.

So now that I have dedicated a full 45 (now 46) posts on my blog to covering Mac OS X Leopard, and have been using Leopard earnestly for the past 35 days, I will now make my final review of Mac OS X Leopard and do a final recap of the Leopard Feature Presentations during the month of November here on Webmacster87.info.

Happy Halloween! Although these Webmacster87.info Best Ofs are traditionally for the first of the following month, October’s comes early to avoid conflicting with the Leopard Feature Presentation, which begins tomorrow. October was a slower month of Webmacster87.info until Apple announced details on the Leopard release–only five posts were made here on Webmacster87.info during the first half of the month. However, the Leopard announcement brought along the beginning of my extensive Leopard coverage, including a week-long Tiger-to-Leopard blogging series. In my personal life, October was a very long, drawn-out month that was primarily about trying to catch up on a long to-do list which I still haven’t conquered yet. And so, without further ado, I begin my spooky look back on the last month here on Webmacster87.info…

Here we go with the second Webmacster87.info Best Of. The first one was posted in the middle of August and covered the my entire summer break, and was posted right before school started. Now, it’s been seven weeks since school started, and plenty has happened in that much time. In History, for example, we’ve already covered the years 1790-1860–that’s 70 years in seven weeks! And, as you’ll see below, a lot more has happened in these seven weeks. So, without further ado…
