Webmacster87.info is the official blog/website of Douglas Bell, who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, California (USA), and is currently a senior in high school. Apple and EMI Will Sell DRM-Free Music

It was only a matter of time after Steve Jobs released his excellent Thoughts on Music. Now, Apple and EMI will be selling higher-quality DRM-Free singles for $0.30 more, and albums will be higher-quality DRM-Free for the same price.

I have only one word:
Congratulations!

Now once this launches, everyone go buy some of these higher-quality singles to help jack up the numbers. If we can prove that this is profitable for EMI, then more companies will follow and we will be catapulting into a DRM-free world.
