First Looks at Twitteriffic 2.0 phpBB Conquers Olympus on Mars!

I’m looking at getting the Creative MuVo V100 Player for myself for purposes of a cheap voice recorder. The one thing I’m unsure about is whether or not it is compatible with Macs. I’m not so much looking to store/listen to music on it, I just want to use the voice recording capability on it, and wonder if Macs would recognize it as a USB flash drive.

Anyone know?

I wouldn’t be worried unless MACs didn’t support:

    1. WMA (sans-DRM)
    2. Universal Mass Storage Device class driver (aka, USB Storage Devices like Flash Drives)

Of course I can’t be sure. You won’t get iTunes integration, but that doesn’t matter in reality.

Infact this page confirmed it as a Mass Storage Class device

I figure that if it can be recognized as a USB storage device, then I should be able to have some sort of access to any voice recordings. I’m pretty sure iTunes can convert unprotected WMA files (well, I know that it can on Windows, not sure about its ability to do that on Mac).

I don’t want to use it to play music from iTunes. If I wanted that, I would have gotten an iPod long ago. ;)
