Today I am officially announcing that I am running for the position of President for the Aragon High School PTSA for the 2007-08 term. I have submitted my name to the Nominating Committee, and although I do not know if they will nominate me, I do intend to run from the floor if I am not nominated. I have had over 3 years of participation with the PTA, including service at the unit, council, and district levels, and am applying to participate at the State PTA level as well. I have been a member and regular attendee of meetings at the Aragon PTSA for the past two years.
If I recall correctly, the election meeting takes place at the April General Meeting on April 18th. Wish me luck!
