Here’s a guy who’s iDisk, when accessed in Windows, said that he had over 30 GB of capacity on his iDisk (though his Mac didn’t say so). Could it be a bug? Or could it be an announcement at Macworld of a HUGE storage update?
I’d LOVE to see this become true. With a 30 GB iDisk, .Mac would finally actually become worth the $99/yr they charge. I’m always on multiple computers and on the go, so a 30 GB iDisk would finally let me have all of my files hosted, safe and secure, on one central location, and I could access them from any computer I used, and they’d always be up to date. If this really were true, I would definitely renew my .Mac account when it came up in June.
So I’m really hoping for this feature! In the meantime, check out this guy’s YouTube video as he shows off his proof.
